From the Heart of the alps
to the land of the free

With the founding of Students Go West, we wanted to offer athletes from Austria the opportunity to combine sports and studies without having to compromise in either area.

Fabio Rumpler went through the academy of Admira Wacker Mödling and had the opportunity to showcase his skills with the Admira Juniors in men's football for two years. After declining a professional contract, Fabio transferred to Middle Georgia State University in Macon, Georgia, and subsequently, after a personally successful year, to Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.

Luca Puster spent his youth years at Grazer Athletik Klub. He gained his first experiences in adult football with DSV Leoben. The last stop before his adventure in the USA was SV Allerheiligen. Luca found his new home in the heat of Florida, specifically in Boca Raton at Lynn University.

With Fabian we have an incredibly talented young man in the team. Fabian is currently active in our team as an athlete supervisor. Before his time at Students Go West, Fabian played for SK Sturm Graz and SV Lafnitz before seeking his way to the land of unlimited opportunities.

Domen is our man for Eastern Europe - after successfully completing his bachelor's degree at Quinnipiac University, Domen decided to enable Slovenian sports talents to make the leap to the USA with Students Go West.

Nina went through various youth national teams of Slovenia and transferred to the College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York. She was named in the All-American team of US College Soccer multiple times. Her performances earned her a spot in the NWSL Draft. Due to COVID-19, she decided not to stay in the USA (Utah Royals) in the winter of 2019/2020 and moved to the Austrian Bundesliga with SK Sturm Graz, also making it to the Slovenian national team. Currently, Nina is playing for Grasshopper Club Zurich.
